Segilola Ogidan hails from Arigidi Akoko in Ondo state. She was born on 9th October 1985. Despite being born into a Christian family her parents were active members in the church. According to Segilola, she was a daddy’s girl who wanted to go everywhere with him, and growing up was much fun. A large field was in front of their house, she, her siblings, and neighbors’ children would always go out to play. She landed her first role in 2009 in Peter Pan, a movie directed by Stephanie Sinclaire at the King’s Head Theatre. Segilola featured in quite several movies and shows before she moved back to Nigeria intending to continue her career as an actress.
During an interview, the ondo state-born actress revealed one of the biggest sacrifices she has made in her career was moving back to Nigeria.
