Uzee Usman Adeyemi was born on November 11, 1986, in Kaduna state. He hails from Offa, Kwara state but he grew up in Kaduna state.

Dr Uzee Usman started working as a make-up artist in 2003. He excelled in many makeup jobs including “London Boy” produced by Temi Opeolouwa of House of Macro which won the Best Makeup Artiste award at the 2008 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). He switched to filmmaking and has produced award-winning films both in Nollywood and Kannywood in 2013.
The movies “Oga Abuja” and “Maja” which he produced won Best Hausa Movie of the Year at the 2013 City People Entertainment Awards and Best Film of the Year at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards.
Maja was subsequently nominated for the Best Picture category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Aside from filmmaking, Uzee Usman produces and anchors a talk show called “Taurarin Zamani” which airs on local and international stations in the North.
The actor has worked and shot movies that featured several stars like Tonto Dikeh, Frank Artus, Ali Nuhu, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu, Jim Iyke, Nkem Owoh, and many others.

Showcasing how much she loved him, on his birthday she wrote that to know him is to love him calling him her confidant and partner. She prayed all his dreams would come true, also praying God would answer all his prayers and all his goals to be met. She wrote in Hausa, “Ka na Ruwa baba an” referring to him as her best actor and she loves him forever and a day more.

Popular Kannywood/Nollywood actor and producer, Uzee Usman debunked rumours that he secretly married an actress on a Popular TV series drama, Farin Jini.
In a telephone conversation with newsmen concerning the matter he explained the viral pictures were from scenes from the film series Farin Jini. The actor in the trending picture attracted the attention of a lot of people with people assuming they got married.
In his words, “It is just wedding pictures that were taken in the film ‘Farin Jini’. The pictures were published on many of our social media handles and it went viral, thereby creating the rumor that we got married. The reality is that it was just a film picture.”
