Shallipopi Arrested By EFCC
On May 30, 2023, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested Nigerian Singer Shallipopi, his manager, Ajayi Hafeez also known as 21 Badda, and others for alleged Internet fraud.
The EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren revealed the suspects were arrested following intelligence reports about a proposed show by suspected internet Fraudsters at Barnawa, Kaduna.
On June 23, 2023, Shallipopi, his manager, and others were convicted and sentenced to two years in prison with the “option of fines.”
