Asake early life
Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake was born in Lagos state to Mr. and Mrs. Ololade in the year 1995. Although his secondary school’s name is not known, the singer mentioned that while in secondary school, he gained the nickname Asake.
Asake attended Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Theatre and Dramatic Arts. He also says that he was often admired in school due to his dance talent so he was not only a singer but he is also good at dancing.

In February 2022, Olamide Baddo signed Asake to his YBNL Record label, that same month he released an extended play (EP) titled Ololade which featured his hit song “Omo Ope” which he sang alongside Olamide.
