Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe was born in Cotonou, Benin on 14th June 2002 and she is professionally known as Ayra Starr. She grew up in Benin before moving to Lagos state. Her parents hail from Kwara state and she has four siblings. Due to her father’s business, her family was always relocating and it was difficult for her to make long-lasting friendships.
Ayar Starr was lucky to be born into a music-loving family. Her mother is a former singer while her Brother Dami a talented guitarist and songwriter provided her with guidance to nurture her musical aspirations.
