Teni the entertainer was born Teniola Apata on 23rd December 1993 in the state. She was born into a polygamous home. Her father who was ex military officer married three wives and had ten children. Teni the entertainer is the younger sister to popular Nigerian singer Nininola.
According to Teni, her father was assassinated in the presence of her and her family members. She revealed his passing robbed her of a father figure in her life and made her develop trust issues. Teni’s Mother’s name is Fola Apata and she has supported her career since she was a kid.
